Corporate Sponsorship for Accessible Children's Books: Helping Children with Dyslexia Access Reading
I created a dyslexia-friendly edition of Anya and a Thousand Fish.
Then I immediately started thinking:
How will this book reach the children who need it most?
I didn't waste any time.
I'm launching a Corporate Sponsorship Scheme designed to help children with dyslexia and other learning differences receive adapted children's books in settings where specialist support is difficult to access.
It is an opportunity for companies to combine Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals, literacy support and educational inclusion in one practical project.

Why accessible reading matters
A child's access to reading and education should not depend on their postcode or household income.
But sometimes, unfortunately, it does.
Many families, schools and community organisations simply do not have the resources to provide specialised reading materials.
How the sponsorship model works
The idea behind this scheme is simple, transparent and measurable.
Businesses sponsor the production and printing of adapted children's books.
Trusted charities, literacy organisations and family-support NGOs identify the children who would benefit most and distribute the books through the networks they already know.
Every sponsored copy has a destination before it is printed.
That makes the process transparent, accountable, measurable and still personal.
About the dyslexia-friendly edition
The dyslexia-friendly edition of Anya and a Thousand Fish focuses on improving readability while preserving the story itself.
It was developed with input from specialists in speech and language, literacy and child development.
The adaptation includes considerations such as:
increased spacing;
calmer page layouts;
improved page flow;
reduced unnecessary cognitive load.
The aim was to preserve the beauty and magic of the original story while making it easier for more children to enjoy.
Because every child deserves access to the world of stories.
Looking for CSR, education and charity partners
I am currently looking for:
companies interested in sponsoring accessible children's books;
CSR and ESG teams;
corporate foundations;
literacy organisations;
charities;
family-support NGOs;
education partners.
The goal is simple: place adapted books directly into the hands of children who can benefit from them.
